What is the Live at the Cross symbol?

The Live at the Cross symbol is the cross inside the “at” sign. For people of faith the cross is a representation of the sacrifice Christ made for our sins. Adding the “at” sign to it brings your relationship with Him into play. “At the cross” all your worries are calmed. “At the cross” all sorrow will cease. “At the cross” all pain is comforted.

“Cast all your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” –Psalm 55:22

Where did it come from?

The symbol started as a doodle with no meaning. After many years God revealed the meaning of “Live at the Cross”. Find your identity in Christ and His cross, not the world. Whatever is relinquished to Him will become more than we can even fathom. Leaving everything at the foot of the cross isn’t easy, but “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

Learn more about the founder

My name is Whitney. I was blessed to grow up in a Christian family with parents who are God fearing. I accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at the age of 10. Life was great and comfortable up until my fourth grade year. That’s when my dad found a job after being unemployed for a couple of years. We had to move across the United States. Life as I knew it was over. I was in a place where I didn’t fit in and where we knew no one. That’s when I started defining myself in worldly things; things that aren’t bad but that were taking the place of God. I defined myself as a student and an athlete. God continually reminded me I had the wrong focus. Year after year I was injured, and this forced me to not play for a period of time. During my Junior year of high school I herniated a disc in my neck playing volleyball. That’s when God got my attention. I no longer found my identity in sports but in Him. Four years after that injury I was at the hospital having spinal surgery. What 20 year old has this kind of surgery? Someone like me who needed a big shake up to recognize my happiness and personal definition is found in Father God.
